SENATOR STANLEY CHANG ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF $1 MILLION FOR KAIMUKĪ MIDDLE SCHOOL

January 2, 2025

HONOLULU - Senator Stanley Chang (District 9 – Hawaiʻi Kai, Kuliʻuoʻuo, Niu, ʻĀina Haina, Waialae-Kāhala, Diamond Head, Kaimukī, Kapahulu) announced today that Governor Josh Green has released $1 million in capital improvement project funds for the design and construction of STEM Lab improvements for Kaimukī Middle School.

“Thank you, Governor Green for releasing funds for Kaimukī Middle School,” said Senator Chang. “Projects like these ensure that our students have access to quality facilities so that they can excel in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.”

 

Established in 1939, Kaimukī Middle School serves grades six through eight, and focuses on interdisciplinary instruction, technology integration, and personalized guidance to prepare students for high school. It has been recognized for its achievements in band, math, athletics, and service.
